11th Annual Pride Track & Field Meet
Happy Pride month, everyone! Again, we have been awarded a booth at San Francisco Pride Festival. This is one of our biggest and most important fundraisers (Folsom St. Fair being our other big fundraiser), and requires a large amount of volunteers. Fundraisers like these help us stay a dues-free club, and covers local track meet registration fees and travel to big events like the Gay Games. The more help we have, the more likely the booth will run efficiently, which translates to more funds for our club.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email Bob Callori your desired time slot and job (see below) by June 17th. Also, please check your ABC certification. ABC certification lasts for three years. This certification allows you to serve and sell drinks at the booth. We typically need a lot of servers and sellers, so if you need to be recertified, or you were never certified, the training will be held on June 16 (9:30 am – 12:30 pm) and June 20 (7 pm – 10 pm). You only need to attend one of these trainings. Information about the training locations will be announced shortly, but for now please add these dates to your calendar. In your email, please indicated if you’re ABC certified or if you plan to attend the training.

Seller (Interact with and collect money from the costumer, check IDs, give the drink order to the Server)
Server (Receive and fill the order given by the Seller, work the Pourer to get the requested drink)
Pourer (Prepare the drink for the Server)

6:00 am – 6:00 pm (For Captains and Co-Captains only)
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm (Critical time)
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Critical time)
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm (Critical time until 5:00 pm)
