2016 Board of Directors election coming up – Get involved!
As the current Board of Directors’ term is up at the end of November, we are looking for volunteers to fill all positions to drive the Club in 2016.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the Club, to learn about operations of a non-profit organization and to make decisions that help shape the future of the Club.
Please reach out to any of the current Board of Directors if you are interested in volunteering for any of these positions. Below is a snapshot of expected duties of each position.

1. President
The president performs all duties incident to his or her office and such other duties as may be required by law, by the Articles of Incorporation of this corporation, or by these Bylaws, or which may be prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors. Unless another person is specifically appointed as chairperson of the Board of Directors, he or she presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors.
2. Vice President (serving as President-Elect)
In the absence of the president, or in the event of his or her inability or refusal to act, the vice president performs all the duties of the president. The vice president has other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors.
3. Secretary
The Secretary keeps a book of minutes of all meetings of the directors, and, if applicable, meetings of committees of directors and of members, recording the time and place of holding, whether regular or special, how called, how notice thereof was given, the names of those present or represented at the meeting, and the proceedings.
In general, the Secretary perform all duties incident to the office of secretary and such other duties as may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the Board of Directors.
4. Treasurer
The Treasurer has charge and custody of, and be responsible for, all funds and securities of the Club, and deposit all such funds in the name of the corporation in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected by the Board of Directors. S/he receives, and gives receipt for, monies due and payable to the corporation from any source whatsoever. S/he also disburses, or causes to be disbursed, the funds of the corporation as may be directed by the Board of Directors, taking proper vouchers for such disbursements.
In general, s/he performs all duties incident to the office of treasurer and such other duties as may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the Board of Directors.
5. Webmasters
The Webmaster has direct access to, monitor and maintains the Club’s websites and social media accounts. S/he acts as a gate keeper of all digital content in terms of visibility and quality.
In general, s/he performs all duties incident to the office of webmaster and such other duties as may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the Board of Directors.
6. Membership/Communication Director
The Membership/Communication Director actively reaches out to existing and potential members to engage them with the Club by informing about team practice and other events. The Membership/Communication Director acts as an administrator of social media and Google Group accounts and post periodic updates to inform members of events and activities.
In general, s/he performs all duties incident to the office of membership/communication director and such other duties as may be assigned to him or her from time to time by the Board of Directors.
7. Director at large
Director at large may not have a specific role or responsibilities but supports all functions of the Board as necessary, as well as voluntarily lead non-Board activities.
