March is here, and we are excited to have Coach Mark Jellison back at our Sunday team practice! Except for next Sunday (March 8), he will be at our Sunday practice every week during the season. Today, we all (sprinters, distance runners and jumpers) started with workouts that condition us and help us build a good base that lasts for rest of the season. We spent over an hour on general warmup, mobility exercises using hurdles, striders on the grass, followed by event specific strength workouts, then some stretching to wrap up the first session. It felt really good.
