[Update September 10 2020 to reflect the cancelation of the Throws clinic]
[Update July 16th 2020 to reflect Thursday evening practices for sprinters and jumpers and Sunday practices for throwers.]
San Francisco Track and Field Club is excited to welcome our members back to practice starting Saturday June 28th. Due to the ongoing pandemic, practices must be in small gatherings, and we must maintain social distancing and wearing masks while exercising. In order to keep our gatherings small, our members will divide into three independent groups that will operate independently until further notice- a sprinting/jumping group , a mid-distance and long distance group, and a throwing group.
If you feel sick or have any suspicion that you might have been exposed to SAR-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, PLEASE keep your teammates safe and healthy by staying home.
Mid-distance and long distance runners will meet on Sundays at 9:30am at the San Francisco High School of the Arts track. They will occasionally meet at other venues as part of their workout cycle, so if you are interested in joining them, please email the team at sftrackandfield@gmail.com to confirm where practice will be.
Sprinters and jumpers will meet for practice at San Francisco School of the Arts track every Sunday morning at 10:00am, as well as Thursdays evenings at 5:00pm.
Throwers will meet at the fields behind Lincoln High School in San Francisco every Sunday mornings at 11:00am. [Update: The following Throws Clinic has been cancelled due to facility closures and air quality concerns.] They will also be hosting a special month-long Throws Camp with Coach Nathan. On each of the four Saturdays in September (the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th), practice will be held at Abraham Lincoln High School, from 9:00am until 11:00am. Please bring your own implements, and social distancing will be enforced.
